Job Title – Tenancy Advisor
Location – London SE1
Contract – Temporary (12 weeks)
Hours – Full Time
Salary – £17.22 per hour
Role summary –
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a housing provider for a Tenancy Advisor to join their Resident Services team on a temporary 12-week contract. This role will involve delivering a front-line tenancy management service, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the effective management of tenancy cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to tenancy-related enquiries and provide accurate advice on tenants’ rights and responsibilities.
Investigate reports of abandonment, succession, and illegal subletting.
Process tenancy changes, including joint to sole, succession, and household amendments.
Support the management of tenancy enforcement cases, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records using housing management and CRM systems.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to provide a seamless service.
Promote resident engagement and support referrals to tenancy sustainment services.Requirements:
Previous experience in tenancy management, housing, or neighbourhood services.
Strong knowledge of tenancy legislation and housing policies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations professionally.
Competent in Microsoft Office packages and housing management systems (Northgate experience desirable).
