Tenant Liaison Officer
£30,000 – £33,000 per year | Temporary | Full-time | 6-month contract (possible extension)
Job Overview
This role involves engaging closely with tenants and stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of planned and responsive maintenance work. Supporting managers to execute maintenance programmes and ensuring minimal disruption for tenants is central to the role.
Key Responsibilities

Continuously improve the tenant experience and maintain high satisfaction rates.
*
Act as the first point of contact for investigating and resolving first-stage tenant complaints.
*
Liaise with tenants before works commence, ensuring they are informed of scope, timescales, and appointments.
*
Provide administrative support including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
*
Collate and provide statistical information as required.
*
Support customers and respond to their requests in a timely manner.
*
Liaise with internal teams to resolve building issues.
*
Collect and manage customer data accurately.
*
Undertake risk assessments.
*
Ensure systems are updated with accurate information.
*
Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
*
Comply with all legal obligations, including Health & Safety.
Essential Skills & Requirements
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Clean DBS check.
*
Strong understanding of housing law and housing management.
*
Experience working with vulnerable people in the community.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
