As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in the testing, commissioning, fault finding, and validation of advanced high-tech systems within a precision-focused manufacturing environment, working a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Carrying out testing, commissioning, and validation of advanced engineering systems and equipment

  * Fault finding and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and system-level issues

  * Following test procedures, specifications, and technical documentation

  * Supporting product quality, performance, and reliability standards

  * Recording and reporting test data, results, and non-conformances

  * Working closely with production and engineering teams to support build and delivery schedules

  * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures

Candidate Requirements:

  * Experience in testing, engineering, production, or manufacturing environments

  * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical or electro-mechanical systems

  * Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation

  * Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and quality standards

  * Experience with test equipment and validation processes desirable

  * Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern

  * Relevant engineering qualification advantageous (NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
