Job Description
Test Engineer - £30,000 - £42,000 + 25 days holiday + bank increasing with service, death in service benefit of 4x salary, salary sacrifice pension scheme and share incentive plan.

As Test Engineer you will work on the testing, configuration, calibration, fault diagnosis and quality checks across a range of safety instrumentation which will include both electrical and mechanical inspection, test and overall performance of the instrument and software; oversee test processes and documentation for calibrated instruments; fault finding on newly manufactured instruments and FAT of new instruments post production in conjunction with maintenance and customer returns as well as provide technical support as and when required.
You will be qualified to ONC, HNC or Degree standard in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Science and have at least 2 years’ commercial experience of working within an electrical testing, inspection, assembly, service engineering or technical support capacity and have a good all-round understanding of electrical / electronic systems, instrumentation, temperature control and wiring.
Candidates who can demonstrate previous experience of calibrating, testing and servicing laboratory equipment, instruments or complex machinery would be beneficial, though not essential.
