Exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of power testing equipment. This role focuses on electrical testing across a range of high-spec load bank products in a busy and dynamic production environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out daily electrical test activities to meet delivery targets
Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Services teams
Supporting on-site customer witness testing
Ensuring full compliance with safety and test procedures
Raising and resolving quality or test-related issues efficiently
Promoting safe working practices and continuous improvement
Contributing to root cause analysis and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
Supporting training of other personnel involved in testingWhat We're Looking For
HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
3+ years of hands-on electrical testing experience (manufacturing preferred)
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to read drawings and test instructions
Familiarity with RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Actions) processes
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Desirable Extras
Previous leadership or mentoring experience
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing/testing environment
Confident in issuing or managing live working permitsPersonal Traits
