Test Manager - Transformation Portfolio
Location: Southampton (2-3 days onsite per week)
Contract Duration: Initial 6 months (likely extension)
IR35 Status: Umbrella Engagement

Are you a seasoned Test Manager with a passion for leading complex testing programmes across multiple vendors and workstreams? We're partnering with a client undergoing a major transformation portfolio and seeking a high-calibre Test Manager to drive robust testing strategy and governance across a range of customer-centric initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead test delivery across complex, multi-vendor environments
Define and embed test strategy across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks
Implement best practices across automation, manual testing, test governance and quality assurance
Oversee environment readiness, test data management, and reporting of test metrics
Engage with senior stakeholders, resolving blockers and ensuring continuous improvement of test processes
Ensure traceability of test activities across diverse programmes in a heavily regulated settingRequired Experience & Skills:
Proven experience delivering end-to-end test management in complex transformation settings
Strong automation experience using tools such as Selenium, UFT, Playwright, or Katalon
Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
Experience working within matrix organisations and managing multiple delivery streams
Strong grasp of test governance, including metrics, reporting, environment/data readiness
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
Hands-on test leadership across CI/CD-enabled environments (desirable)Test ManagerBefore You Apply
