Job Description
Test Manager – Permanent Role | Regulated Software (Healthtech)
We’re looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a critical software product in development. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who thrives in regulated environments and wants to make a real impact in healthcare technology.
The Role:
* Define and implement test strategies, plans, and protocols across the full software lifecycle
* Ensure compliance with key standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11)
* Oversee validation documentation, test execution, and defect lifecycle management
* Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, and product quality
* Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools
What We’re Looking For:
* 3+ years in software QA/testing within regulated industries (medical device background highly desirable)
* Solid knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971
* Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools (e.g., Xray)
* Strong leadership in test strategy and validation processes
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills:
* Experience with GxP / GAMP5 guidelines
* Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
* Exposure to eQMS tools (e.g., Ketryx, Cognidox)
