 As a Test Rig Design Engineer you will:

Collaborate with aircraft system specialists to understand test requirements and develop testing methods.
Conceptualise and design detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings for custom test rigs using CAD.
Specify actuators, sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems, and produce P&IDs.
Work cross-functionally to ensure test rigs are fit for purpose and meet engineering requirements.
Validate designs using hand calculations and FEA while supporting in-house prototype builds.
Prepare technical reports to document progress and findings effectively.
The Test Rig Design Engineer will bring: 

A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in rig design and testing methodologies.
Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing techniques.
Proficiency in CAD for modelling parts and assemblies, along with the ability to produce detailed drawings.
Ability to manage workload independently, prioritise tasks, and identify solutions with a hands-on approach.
