Job Description
Socode are proud to be working with an advanced printing innovator who are helping to shape the next generation of print technologies.
What will I be doing? You’ll play a key role in testing and validating new products in a busy R&D environment. From preparing and running experiments to capturing performance data and keeping the lab running smoothly, you’ll be hands-on with exciting technology at the early stages of development.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out product tests to ensure new designs meet project requirements
Set up, run, and maintain ink systems and printing equipment
Build simple prototype parts such as cables and connectors
Keep accurate records of test results using standard software tools
Support documentation by helping draft procedures, reports, or risk assessments
Contribute to the smooth running of the lab through general upkeep and 5S activitiesWe’re looking for:
Practical, hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail
Background in a lab, workshop, or R&D setting where following procedures is key
Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) to record and share results
A collaborative team player with clear communication skills
Comfortable picking up new tools and processes quickly
Any knowledge of printing systems, soldering, or cable assembly would be a bonus – but training can be providedInterested?
