Job Description

We are currently working with a SEMH School based near Cambridgeshire and they are looking for Therapeutic Practitioners and Specialists, to start in September 2025. About Us We are a specialist SEMH school, designed to provide a highly tailored, therapeutic learning environment for young people facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our vision is to empower students through creative, sensory, and holistic interventions that nurture resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being. Who We’re Looking For We welcome therapeutic specialists from all disciplines to join our dynamic team, offering innovative interventions that support students in meaningful ways. Roles include but are not limited to: Animal-Assisted Practitioners Lego Therapy Facilitators Art & Music Therapists Outdoor & Forest School Therapists Movement & Physical Development Practitioners Therapy & Horticultural Therapy Virtual Reality Therapy Climbing & Adventure Therapy Dance & Movement Psychotherapy Martial Arts Therapy Woodwork & Craft Therapy Parkour Therapy Key Responsibilities * Deliver specialist therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and group needs. * Foster positive relationships that promote emotional resilience and personal growth. * Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure holistic care. * Implement creative, sensory, or nature-based approaches that engage students effectively. * Encourage students to develop confidence, communication skills, and self-expression. * Participate in ongoing CPD and reflective practice sessions. Person Specification * Experience working with SEMH, ASD, or complex SEN needs. * Passionate about therapeutic education and innovative interventions. * Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting. * Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and holistic therapeutic techniques. * Solution-focused, resilient, and adaptable approach to student care.
