Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Overtime + Benefits
About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Thermal Insulation Engineers to join our dynamic team working on high-profile projects across London. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of thermal insulation systems in industrial and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
*
Install and maintain various insulation materials (mineral wool, phenolic foam, cellular glass, etc.)
*
Work on ducting, piping, plant, and structural steelwork
*
Interpret technical drawings and specifications
*
Apply appropriate cladding (e.g., aluminum, steel, PIB)
*
Conduct quality checks to ensure insulation meets industry standards
*
Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations
Requirements
*
Proven experience in thermal insulation (industrial or commercial)
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*
Valid CSCS card (Blue/Gold preferred)
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Thermal Insulation (or equivalent)
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
Flexibility to work across various sites in Greater London
Desirable
*
IPAF, PASMA, or confined space certification
*
Experience working in construction, energy, or utilities sectors
