Job Description
Job Title: Thermal Insulation Engineer
Location: North West
Rate: £27 per hour
Overtime Rates:
*
After 8 hours midweek – 1.4x
*
Saturday – 1.4x for first 4 hours, 1.8x thereafter
*
Sunday – 1.8x
Accommodation Allowance: £50 per night towards accommodation
Hours: 7 days on / 5 days the following week (one weekend on, one off)
Start Date: Immediate Start
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers to join ongoing industrial projects across the North West.
This is a long-term opportunity offering competitive pay, structured overtime, and an accommodation allowance for those working away.
You will be responsible for all aspects of thermal insulation, including pipe lagging, ductwork, and boiler insulation installations.
Scope of Works
*
Installation and maintenance of thermal insulation on pipework, ductwork, boilers, and vessels
*
Working from drawings and site specifications
*
Ensuring all work meets health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
*
Valid TICA Card (essential)
*
Proven experience in thermal insulation within industrial environments
*
Full PPE and own tools
*
Excellent attention to detail and safe working practices
*
Immediate availability preferred
