Job Description
TIG Welder - Fabricator
* Hourly Rate: Up to £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
* Overtime paid at Time and a half
* Permanent | Full-Time
* Location: In the Sandy / Cambourne / St. Neots / Huntingdon area
* Due to out-of-town location, own transport is essential.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for a hands-on role involving TIG welding and fabrication of stainless-steel materials ranging from 1.0mm to 12mm in thickness. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel, including pipework/purge.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring understanding of tolerances and fabrication techniques.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate effectively with team members in production and on-site environments.
* Uphold quality engineering practices in all tasks.
Qualifications:
* City & Guilds qualification in Welding and Fabrication or an apprenticeship in an engineering environment preferred.
* Proven experience with stainless steel welding and fabrication.
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices.
Working Hours:
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the following schedule:
* Monday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
* Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
* Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
* Friday: 7:30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime)
Overtime:
Available and compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate for weekdays and Saturday mornings.
