🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Perform TIG and MIG welding on light gauge materials (1mm–3mm) including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
* Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* Measure, cut, and align materials using calipers, clamps, and straightedges
* Set up and operate TIG welding equipment
* Carry out grinding, thermal cutting, and finishing operations to spec
* Use power and hand tools such as orbital sanders, grinders, and hand drills
* Ensure all welding meets required quality and construction standards
* Maintain knowledge of metal characteristics and appropriate welding techniques
* Follow all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
* Perform preventative maintenance and assist in basic equipment repairs
* Weld test required as part of the selection process

* Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding and fabrication
* Confident working with light gauge materials (1mm–3mm)
* Strong understanding of welding techniques across stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
* Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision

* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
