Full-Time | Days & Shifts available
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a number of experienced Welders to join their skilled team for on-going temporary projects. This role involves welding aluminium and other metals to specification, ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings to carry out welding tasks to spec
Perform MIG/TIG welding on aluminium and metal components
Inspect welded joints and surfaces to identify defects or faults
Set up welding equipment and monitor temperatures during operation
Ensure all work meets legal, safety, and company quality standards
Operate machinery and tools in line with safety procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Follow all H&S and PPE protocols, including COSHH and manual handling guidanceAbout You:
Previous experience in a welding role is essential
Confident in MIG/TIG welding techniques and using manual tools
Able to interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
A team player with a good work ethic and willingness to support others
Good communication and basic IT skills
Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is desirable
