Job Description
TIG Welder
We’re looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our friendly and growing team in Basingstoke. The team is rapidly expanding after acquiring a new site to support larger operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working with stainless steel and other metals, using TIG to produce high-quality components.
If you’re a skilled welder who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing a clean, reliable finish, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
* Carrying out TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals
* Reading and working from technical drawings to create accurate assemblies
* Repairing and fabricating components to a high standard
* Using hand and power tools for finishing and assembly
* Working with our engineers and fabricators to solve problems and improve processes
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience as a welder, ideally with stainless steel and sheet metal
* Skilled in TIG welding
* Able to read and understand technical drawings
* A keen eye for detail and pride in producing neat, accurate welds
* Good understanding of health & safety practices
* A team player who’s reliable and positive
What we offer
* Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per year (depending on experience)
* 22 days holiday bank holidays (rising with service)
* Pension scheme & Medical Cashplan (after qualifying period)
* 37.5 hour week
* Based in Basingstoke
