TIG Welder | Ferndown | £17ph (depending on experience)
Purpose
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a specialist fabrication team in Ferndown. This is a great opportunity to work on high-quality, bespoke stainless-steel components for the marine industry.
About the Company
Our client is a well-established fabrication company, renowned for producing custom stainless-steel products for marine applications. Their Ferndown facility is easily accessible by public transport and offers free on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities
TIG welding of stainless-steel components
Occasional MIG welding as required
Working with sheet metal up to 3mm thickness
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Conducting quality checks on finished work
Supporting general workshop duties and team collaboration
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in TIG welding, ideally with stainless steel
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Someone who has their own hand tools
