Tiler / Floor Layer | Multi-Skilled Wet Room Finisher (Tiling + Cap & Cove Flooring)
Location: Thatcham Court Care Home, Newbury
Start Date: 26th November
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Duration: 10 wet rooms before Christmas, followed by 50 straight after
Pay Rate: £20.00 – £25.00 per hour
Multi Trades Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Wet Room Finisher who can complete both tiling and cap-and-cove safety flooring to a high standard. This is a long-run project within a care-home setting and requires someone who can produce consistent, clean, watertight finishes across multiple rooms with minimal supervision.
Role Overview
Key duties will include:
* Full wall and floor tiling, including prep, setting out, cutting and grouting
* Installation of cap-and-cove safety flooring, including hot-welded joints and watertight edges
* Subfloor preparation, levelling and waterproofing
* Working in sequence with plumbing and painting teams to maintain a smooth workflow
* Maintaining high cleanliness standards within a live care-home environment
* Delivering consistent, quality finishes at pace across all allocated wet rooms
Project Description
A multi-room wet-room refurbishment programme including plumbing, tiling, flooring, painting and general finishing work. You will be responsible for taking each room from prepared surfaces to fully completed tiled and floored finish.
