About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Tiler to undertake the tiling work for a project involving fitting out 9 bungalows located around the YO31 postcode area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, cutting, and laying tiles with precision and efficiency to a high standard, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for tiling work ensuring proper adhesion and finish
Measure, cut, and lay various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, etc.) accurately
Work from plans and specifications to complete tiling as required
Ensure clean, neat, and durable finishes in kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
Requirements:
Proven experience as a tiler working on residential properties, preferably bungalows
Fully versed in all relevant health & safety regulations and practices
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Own tools and transport preferred
Good time management and communication skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic
