Your new role is working for a large contractor who has recently won many social housing contracts across the North.
Your new role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tiler to join our team, working on a dedicated social housing bungalow scheme. The role involves tiling kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring safe, durable, and visually appealing finishes for residents. You will be required to;
Carry out wall and floor tiling in occupied and void bungalows
Prepare surfaces, including levelling and waterproofing, prior to installation
Cut, lay, and grout tiles with precision and attention to detail
Work closely with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and tenants when required
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in residential tiling, ideally within social housing
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong knowledge of materials, adhesives, and tools
Full UK driving licence preferred
NVQ Level 2 in Wall and Floor Tiling (desirable but not essential)What you'll get in return
