Timber Frame Designer
Glasgow, Scotland
Up to £45,000
Full Time, Permanent
Are you ready to work with an award-winning Scottish company? Are your communication skills as strong as your technical design skills? Do you enjoy taking an active involvement with the project?
As Timber Frame Designer, you will be:
Involved in projects from design through to delivery and installation
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring you are delivering excellent quality and customer service
Acting as the key design contact for specific clients and projects
Design detailing, ensuring safety and build ability for project are maximised
Attending various meetings as required
Producing timber frame manufacture drawings for various component parts of the project
Working with suppliers, ensuring materials are supplied in line with project programmes
As Timber Frame Designer you will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in a technical department, with knowledge of Timber Frame Construction
Proven technical knowledge of current Building Regulations and relevant standards
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Software knowledge in MiTek is desirable
