Location: Aylesbury (covering surrounding areas)
Salary: £75,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance + paid mileage and expenses
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s leading care providers in the search for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of six well-established dementia and elderly care services across the Aylesbury area.
This is a key operational leadership role within the organisation, reporting directly to the Regional Director of Care. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring exceptional standards of care, operational performance, and team development across all homes within your portfolio.
You’ll lead, coach, and inspire Home Managers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full
compliance with CQC standards and driving positive outcomes for residents and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across six dementia and elderly care homes, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and person-centred care.

Support and mentor Home Managers to achieve service excellence, strong regulatory outcomes, and operational targets.
*
Manage regional budgets and performance metrics, ensuring a balance between financial sustainability and quality outcomes.
*
Champion compliance and governance, ensuring homes consistently meet or exceed CQC expectations.
*
Foster a positive and collaborative culture focused on accountability, compassion, and professional development.
*
Collaborate with senior leadership to support wider company initiatives and continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused leader who can inspire teams and drive continuous improvement across multiple services. You’ll combine strategic insight with hands-on operational management and a passion for delivering outstanding care.
Essential Requirements
*
Proven experience in a senior operational or regional management role within the elderly or dementia care sector (nursing pin not required).
*
Strong track record of driving quality and compliance across multiple services.
*
Excellent understanding of CQC frameworks and regulations.
*
Commercially aware with solid financial management experience.
*
Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
*
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.
