TOOL AND DIE TECHNICIAN URGENT
We have an urgent requirement for Tooling Technician who has experience and are looking for IMMEDIATE START, we have just the job for you!
We’re looking for an experienced Tool and Die Technician to join our team immediately for a short-term, high-impact contract. If you’re a precision-focused professional who can hit the ground running, we want you on board.
We are a fast-paced manufacturing organisation, and we have an urgent need for your skills!
Commutable from most areas of the West Midlands
KEY BENEFITS
* Salary: £40 per hour
* Days – moving to shifts
* Early finish Friday
* 4 day working week when on rotating shifts
* Lunchtime finish Friday when on days
* Start: ASAP
* IR35 Status: Inside IR35 – must be paid via an FCSA-accredited umbrella company
* Contract Type: Ongoing
What You’ll Do:
* Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
* Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime
* Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
* Operate and maintain milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other precision equipment
* Perform quality checks to ensure tooling meets exact tolerances
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in tool and die making or tooling maintenance
* Strong machining, measurement, and fabrication skills
* Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
* Commitment to precision and safety
* Available to start ASAP
