Job Description
Our client is looking for a reliable and highly organised Tool Room Stores Person to support their busy engineering team. This day-shift role is essential in ensuring tools, parts, and consumables are tracked, stocked, and ready when needed. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, basic engineering knowledge, and good computer skills go a long way. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Issue, store, and manage tools, equipment, and consumables used across the shop floor
*
Maintain accurate records using the internal stock control system
*
Monitor tool usage, highlight shortages, and assist with restocking
*
Keep the tool room clean, organised, and compliant with company procedures
*
Support engineers with tool identification or basic enquiries
*
Occasionally assist with deliveries or collections (driving licence preferred)
What We’re Looking For:

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Confident using computers and basic software (training provided)
*
Basic understanding of engineering tools and terminology
*
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
*
Driving licence preferred but not essential

Day shift hours:
▸ Monday–Thursday: 07:30–16:00
▸ Friday: 07:30–13:00
