Shift: Monday – Friday Days
Location: North Walsham
We’re on the lookout for a Tool Room Technician to join a leading manufacturing business. This role is all about keeping tools in top condition, repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing them to keep production running smoothly.
If you’re experienced in a toolroom and want to be part of a busy, hands-on team, this Tool Room Technician position could be for you.
What you’ll be doing as a Tool Room Technician:
* Maintain and repair tools to a high standard
* Strip, clean, and reassemble tools ready for production
* Diagnose faults, solve breakdowns, and minimise downtime
* Modify and refurbish tools when needed
* Install and set up tools for production runs
* Keep accurate records of tool maintenance and repairs
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to keep things moving
What we’re looking for in a Tool Room Technician:
* Previous experience in a toolroom environment
* Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use precision measuring equipment
* Problem-solving mindset and good attention to detail
* Team player but comfortable working independently
* Safety-conscious with a proactive attitude
* Flexible, positive, and keen to keep developing skills
