Job Description
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for a Skilled Injection Mould Condition Setter with a driven and ambitious attitude.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment. The company operates a 24/7 production schedule with 16 injection moulding machines including Negri Bossi, Engel and BMB ranging from (Apply online only) ton press size.
Role & responsibilities:
Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)
Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components
Complete settings paperwork
Use of overhead gantry
Use of robots to include six axis robots
Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines
Ensuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Handling of heavy and expensive toolingThe successful candidate will need to be competent in process knowledge as well as a good understanding of automation and technical trouble shooting.
Working hours and pay
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm (However, the demands of the business may require you to stay on until 5:30pm+ so flexibility is essential).
Overtime will be paid over and above the normal contracted hours of 47.5 hrs per week
Salary between £34k - £38k per annum - this is dependent on experience.Other information
You will be required to join an on-call rota after the initial 3-month training.
