Summary
A Precision CNC Manufacturing Company Based in Hertfordshire, covering a broad range of Sectors Including Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, and Robotics. We operate a high-quality engineering facility that offers a clinical and precise working environment, utilising state of the art machine tools and supporting equipment.
The Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Tool Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and breaking down Tools for CNC Milling Machines and ensuring the Tool Setting area is always kept clean, tidy and organised. You will also be responsible for making sure Tools are set and delivered to the machines on time.
The Role will include the following:
• Working from Tooling Setting Sheets
• Setting Tools (Milling Cutters, Drills etc…) in holders.
• Breaking down of tools on job completion.
• Organisation and cleanliness of setting areas.
• Ensuring tool holders are maintained, clean and in good working order.
• Self-management of workload to work efficiently.
• Ordering Tooling.
• Maintaining Vices and other equipment in the Workshop
Key skills that for this role which should include most listed but should not be limited to:
• Good time keeping
• Attention to detail
Experience:
• Ideally you will come from a CNC Milling, Mechanical or Assembly background and have a understanding of different Cutters, Drills, Insert Tools etc…..
Education:
• GCSE English & Maths Grades A-C or equivalent
Milling - Tool Setter
1.Doesn’t require experience of the Role, we can give full Training
2.Needs to have a Practical mind set
3.From a background of either Workshop, Assembly, Mechanic etc….
4.MUST be Tidy and Organized, will not compromise on this!!!!
5.Perfect English required
6.Salary £27K - £28K, this is an Overtime role but when requiredBefore You Apply
