Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their team in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical expertise and a strong eye for detail to support manufacturing operations by producing, repairing, and maintaining tools to exacting specifications.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys working in a fast paced, target driven environment and can deliver precision work consistently.

Hours: 40 hours per week, rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities:
Provide toolmaking, repair, and maintenance services to support manufacturing operations
Deliver finished products to pre-determined specifications and tolerances
Interpret and work from technical drawings accurately
Maintain high levels of precision and accuracy in all manual and clerical tasks
Support the team to achieve overall operational objectives
Adhere to safe working practices at all times
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
Relevant mechanical or production engineering qualification
Proven experience working in a busy tool shop with tight deadlines
Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply specifications accurately
Flexible approach to work and team oriented mindset
Strong commitment to health and safety
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
