TOOLMAKER - NIGHTS
We are offering a role for a TOOLMAKER – NIGHTS in the Birmingham area.
We blend heritage craftsmanship with forward thinking processes – and as our Toolmaker, this role is key in helping us deliver excellence at every stage of production.
Established for many many years, this role is an interesting and varied Toolmaker role, with superb long-term prospects genuinely available
Commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Handsworth, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Minworth, Halesowen, Moseley, Redditch, Hollywood and Tyseley

RESPONSIBILITIES for TOOLMAKER
* Manufacture, maintain, and repair a variety of press tooling, jigs, and fixtures
* Read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
* Perform inspections and testing to ensure tools meet strict quality standards
* Diagnose and resolve tooling issues swiftly and effectively
* Hapy to work Nights
REQUIREMENTS for TOOLMAKER
* Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or manufacturing setting
* Skilled in both Single Operation and Progression tooling
* To have the ability to read engineering drawings and using hand tools and general Toolroom equipment
* Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team
