Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience manufacturing and assembling press tooling. A background in progression tooling would be an advantage but not essential. The Tool Maker will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that tools are produced to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Duties
* Manufacture, assemble, and repair tools and fixtures according to specifications.
* Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools
* Work with provided detailed drawings
* Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Tool Maker or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Proficiency in using various machining tools including mills, lathes, and grinders.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
