💰 Starting from £14.80 per hour (DOE) | Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm
Are you a skilled Toolmaker with a strong background in injection moulding tools? Our client, a respected manufacturer based in Alconbury, is looking for a committed and safety-conscious professional to join their toolroom team.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Maintain, repair and work on injection moulding tools to a high standard
Operate safely within Health and Safety guidelines (HASAW Act 1974)
Use overhead cranes safely (training will be provided if necessary)
Work flexibly when required to meet production demands
Support operations across other local production sites when needed
Carry out additional duties to support business needs, as directed by the Toolroom Manager or Supervisor✅ Ideal Candidate Will Have
Proven experience as a toolmaker, preferably within a plastics/injection moulding environment
A detail-focused and proactive approach
A commitment to safe and efficient working practices
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively🕒 Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (half-hour unpaid break)📍 Location
Based at the company's facility in Alconbury, this role is easily accessible from:
Huntingdon, Peterborough, St Neots, Cambridge, Biggleswade, Ely, Bedford, and surrounding areas.
