Job Description
Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a Toolmaker to join our client based in Skelmersdale, focusing on the production of high-quality tooling and component parts for a major Manufacturing company.
This is a permanent position directly with our client from day one.
The Role
As a Toolmaker, you’ll be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture a variety of parts including:
* Fixtures
* Tooling
* Press tools
* Componentry
* Occasional rework of existing components
This is a hands-on production role.
Key Responsibilities
* Program and operate CNC machines (training provided on our specific equipment)
* Manufacture precision parts to tight tolerances
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Contribute to the development of tooling solutions for production needs
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Toolmaker
* Confident in programming and operating CNC machines (generic knowledge required)
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling design
* Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
* Ability to work independently and within a team
Training & Development
We will provide training on the specific machines and systems we use – however, candidates must bring a solid base of CNC programming and operating experience to succeed in this role.
This position is working day hours only and salary is dependent on experience in the range of £35,000 - £41,500 plus overtime.
