Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for TOP Manager (Turnover packages) position for their Combined Cycle Synchronised Condenser project based in Pembroke on a 5 months initial contract.
The TOP Manager (Turnover packages) positions come with a day rate from £500.00 to £550.00 outside of IR35.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
Ensure that all construction phases meet the specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records, including as-built drawings, technical documentation, and project reports.
Keep these documents organized and readily accessible for handover to clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the transition phase, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requirements promptly and professionally.
Facilitate the smooth handover process by coordinating with all project stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients, to ensure a seamless transition of assets and information.
Identify, track, and resolve any defects or issues in completed construction phases, working closely with the project team to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Stay up-to-date with UK construction site regulations, codes, and safety standards.
Ensure that all the project complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks that could affect project handover.
Address any issues proactively to minimize delays or complications.
Collaborate with the construction team, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to align on handover expectations and ensure a harmonious transition process.
Monitor budgetary constraints during the handover phase, trying to control costs and maximize efficiency wherever possible.
Seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the handover process and implement best practices to enhance future projects.
Strive to exceed client expectations by delivering a seamless handover experience and addressing any post-construction concerns promptly and professionally.
Bachelor's degree in Construction
Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
In-depth knowledge of construction site practices, processes, and regulations.
Proficiency in quality assurance processes, including inspections, defect identification, and rectification, to maintain the highest standards of construction work.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings, specifications, and compliance records.
Familiarity with construction-related software and tools for project management, scheduling, and document control.Location, day rate and timeframe of the TOP Manager (Turnover Packages) position:
