Our client is a well-known private planning firm in Edinburgh. With recent additions to the existing team, they are now looking to appoint an associate/director level planner, with strong links in the Scottish planning system to come on board and run the Edinburgh office for them.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and building on your network of clients in Scotland and being a manager and mentor to the other members of the team. Personality fit is really important here and our client would consider a 4-day week for the right candidate.
Ideally, you will have the following:-
MRTPI
Urban Planning, Land Use Planning, and Environmental Planning expertise
Proven ability to lead and manage teams successfully
Experience in project management and client engagement/business development
Proficiency in planning software and tools
Strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies in Scotland / UK
Degree in Urban Planning
