Town Planner - Essex (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £37,000 (DOE)
We are partnering with a respected independent planning, urban design and development consultancy based in Essex to recruit an experienced Town Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking team, contributing to a wide range of significant and high-profile projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a varied project portfolio, including:
·Promotion of strategic land and site allocation through the local plan process
·Leading and coordinating complex planning applications and appeals
·Preparing feasibility assessments and development appraisals
·Engaging in meaningful public consultation and stakeholder engagement
·Providing clear strategic advice and innovative planning solutions
About You
We're looking for a motivated planning professional who can demonstrate:
·Full MRTPI qualification (or ideally working towards)
·At least 2 years experience in either public or private sectors
·A collaborative, team-focused approach with enthusiasm for delivering high-quality planning outcomes
·A full UK driving licence
