Responsibilities
As a Town Planner, you will:
Deliver high-quality planning consultancy services to clients, ensuring compliance with RTPI standards and internal best practices.
Manage project timelines effectively, consulting with senior staff as needed to ensure successful delivery.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling services.
Collaborate with colleagues across our UK offices to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Travel across the UK for site visits and client meetings, contributing to projects of varying scales and sectors.
Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
Contribute innovative ideas to enhance client value and generate new revenue streams.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
MRICS qualification or over 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of English and Scottish planning systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently advise clients and collaborate with colleagues.
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
RTPI or RICS membership, or a relevant qualification.
