Tractor Drivers Wanted - Seasonal Harvest Work (Category F Licence)

Location: Southminster 
 Contract: Seasonal (May-October)
 Start Date: 5th May

Looking for a summer contract with great earning potential? We're recruiting Tractor Drivers with a Category F licence to support our harvest season. This role is ideal for anyone happy to work long hours and looking for a focused seasonal role - particularly those without family commitments who want to maximise hours and income over the summer.

✅ What We Offer

Full training provided - no previous agricultural experience required
Accommodation available
Long hours during harvest (12‑hour days)
Every second weekend off
Competitive pay - minimum hourly rate plus time-and-a-half for the last 4 hours each day
Seasonal contract from May to October

✅ What You Need

A valid driver's licence
Over 21 years old
Category F licence
Willingness to work long harvest hours
Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to travel to the Southminster site daily

🚜 Your Responsibilities

Report to the Southminster site daily
Perform daily machinery checks (fuel, oil, lights, general condition)
Follow instructions on harvesting site destinations
Operate and transport machinery including Tractors, Forage Harvesters, and Mowers
Transport crops from field to site
Harvest and mow green crop efficiently
Follow all company Health & Safety rules
Harvester drivers:
Record all field and farmer details
Log trailer movements
Use Greenstar for field mapping & hazard recording
Mower drivers:
Record hazards on Greenstar
Maintain field notes on crop condition (flowering, quality, standing/laid, etc.)
Adhere to all highway and traffic regulations
Maintain clear radio communication at all times
