Job Title: Tractor Driver

Location: Essex, Kent

Contract Duration: Seasonal / Long-Term Contract

Pay Rate: £17.00- 20.00 per hour (dependent on experience and pay type)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Tractor Driver to join a busy agricultural operation based in Essex, Kent

This role involves supporting daily field operations, land preparation, and transport duties across local farmland. We are looking for someone with good mechanical awareness, flexible working hours, and a strong work ethic during busy peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

Operating modern agricultural tractors and attached machinery safely across fields and local road networks.

Carrying out essential land preparation work, including cultivations, spraying/spreading assistance, carting, and trailer work.

Loading and unloading agricultural loads, crop harvests, or materials efficiently.

Carrying out routine daily pre-checks, basic maintenance, greasing, and keeping machinery clean and field-ready.

Adhering strictly to farm safety guidelines, road transport regulations, and site risk assessments.

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (Category F / B with agricultural experience).

Proven experience operating agricultural tractors and implements on commercial farms.

Experience with GPS/auto-steer guidance systems is highly advantageous.

Good mechanical aptitude for minor field maintenance and troubleshooting.

Flexible attitude towards working hours during harvest and busy seasonal cycles.

Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours & Benefits

Hours: Standard hours Monday to Friday, with weekend work and late finishes available during peak seasonal times.

Pay Rate: £14.50 - £16.50 per hour (paid weekly).

On-site parking and established, friendly team environment.
