With over 20 years of trusted industry experience, they have developed long-standing relationships with leading developers, house builders, civil engineers, and environmental consultants across the UK. Their services include ecological services, vegetation clearance, invasive weed management, tree protection, site hoarding, and security fencing-covering all aspects of site enablement. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tractor Operative with a valid CSCS Card to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of tractors and attachments on various sites across the UK. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to site safety. Key Responsibilities: Operate tractors with various implements (flails, toppers, trailers, etc.) in accordance with site requirements Carry out vegetation clearance, grass cutting, flailing, groundworks support, and other site preparation tasks Perform daily maintenance checks on tractor and equipment, reporting any issues promptly Assist with loading/unloading of materials and machinery Adhere to all site-specific health and safety procedures and risk assessments Travel to sites across the UK, including occasional night and weekend work as required Work effectively within a team and independently when necessary Support wider site enablement works such as fencing, hoarding, and invasive species control when needed Required Experience & Qualifications: Proven experience operating agricultural tractors in a commercial or construction setting Valid CSCS Card (essential) Competent with tractor-mounted flails, toppers, trailers, and general ground maintenance attachments Good mechanical understanding and ability to carry out basic maintenance and checks Full UK driving licence - towing (B+E) would be advantageous Willingness to travel and stay away overnight as required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks Desirable (Not Essential): NPORS or LANTRA qualifications in tractor operation Brushcutter/strimmer certification PA1/PA6 spraying licence First aid or other site safety training Apply: To Apply for the Tractor Operative role, please submit an up to date CV and one of our consultants will be in contact
