Job Description
Taskmaster Resources are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for a Warehouse & Trade Counter Operative. This is a hands-on role combining warehouse duties with customer service at a busy trade counter. If you’re organised, reliable, and have experience in electrical wholesale, we’d love to hear from you.
Our client is based in the S74 area of Barnsley and it is essential that candidates have their own transport, as there is no public transport serving this area. Do not apply if you do not have your own means of travel.
What you’ll do:
* Serve customers at the trade counter with a friendly and professional approach
* Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently
* Process orders and assist with stock control
* Support general warehouse and sales operations
What we’re looking for:
* Previous warehouse and trade counter experience – essential
* Experience within an electrical wholesale or trades background – highly desirable
* Excellent customer service skills
* Reliable, hands-on, and physically fit – this is an active, fast-paced role
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:30–17:00, Friday 08:30–16:30
Location: S74 Barnsley (own transport required – no public transport access)
Pay: £12.21
