About Us
A well-established transport planning and highway consultancy based in Bristol, working with clients across the UK are looking for a Traffic Analyst to join their team. They deliver expert advice and design services on projects of all sizes - from feasibility through planning, design, and implementation.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Traffic Analyst to join their growing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing traffic generation and distribution calculations
Predicting future traffic flows at specific junctions or across wider networks
Undertaking junction capacity testing using PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG and ideally TRANSYT
Supporting work with SATURN and VISSIM
Presenting results clearly in technical notes and reports
Working collaboratively with our Transport Planners and Highway Design Engineers
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
A few years’ experience in a similar traffic/transport role and/or a degree in Maths or Engineering with an interest in transport planning and a willingness to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills for presenting technical findings
