Job description Traffic Marshall – Bishop Auckland / Willington Area (DL14) Role Details: * Location: Bishop Auckland / Willington area (DL14) * Start Date: ASAP * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:00 * Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour We are seeking two reliable and experienced Traffic Marshalls to work for our client in the Willington area (DL14), close to Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, and Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for those with previous experience in traffic management who are looking to secure a role with guaranteed hours. Role Overview: As a Traffic Marshall, you will be responsible for safely guiding plant and vehicles across a public road from one side of the site to the other, ensuring minimal disruption to the public. Additionally, you will be required to clear any debris left on the road by crossing vehicles, ensuring the area remains safe and tidy. Key Responsibilities: * Safely guide plant and vehicles across a public road * Minimise disruption to the public and maintain clear communication with drivers * Ensure any debris left on the road by crossing vehicles is promptly cleared * Adhere to all safety procedures and site regulations Requirements: * Must have access to your own vehicle due to the site location and lack of public transport * Must have your own full oranges (Orange Hi-Vis Jacket and Trousers), white hard hat, and safety boots * Other PPE will be provided * Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall is preferred but not essential * Strong attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits: * Competitive hourly rate of £14.50 * Opportunity to work with a reputable client
