Job Description
S&D Trade Recruitment are currently looking for Trailer Builders to join a well-established manufacturing company in Bolton. This is a temporary to permanent position offering a 4 day working week with core hours of 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:30pm, and no weekend working, there is potential for some over time on Fridays. Salary: £12.40 per hour
This role is ideal for production operatives or individuals in hands on manufacturing, assembly, or light engineering roles who want the stability of a long term position as a Trailer Builder. Full training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and transferable skills.
Trailer Builder Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble trailers and sub-assemblies to a high standard.
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
* Follow build instructions and technical drawings.
* Ensure all trailers meet quality and technical specifications.
* Operate (or be trained to operate) lifting equipment.
* Maintain a clean, safe work environment following Health & Safety guidelines.
* Report stock and material needs to supervisors.
* Work closely with the team to meet daily production targets.

* Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or similar hands-on roles.
* Confident using tools and following instructions accurately.
* Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious individual.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
