Job Description
Are you an experienced Trailer/HGV Technician with knowledge on supporting with cryogenics systems or related equipment (refrigerated/frozen/liquified gases)
OR… a Technician with valuable experience in maintaining cryogenic systems that can adapt to a HGV trailer-based system.
If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new, purpose-built facility near Chesterfield specialising in Cryogenic logistics.
About the Role:
As a multi-skilled Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing specialist cryogenic systems used for the transport of liquified gases such as Nitrogen, Oxygen or Helium. This will include: gas Storage tanks and insulation, transfer systems, pumps, pipework, valve control systems, guages, and regulators. This will also include trailer maintenance such as braking, wheels, axles, lighting etc
The successful Workshop Technician:
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled professionals with the ability to work to the stringent safety protocols required for cryogenic equipment. Training can be given around the specifics of “Cryo” but preferably candidates will have the following experience:-
Proven background in servicing and maintaining Trucks/Trailers (Mechanical qualification preferred)
Experience with transportation systems for Frozen, Refrigerated goods or ideally, liquified gases.
General mechanical maintenance skills around HGV trailers including welding
