Job Title: MO - Facility Services Operator
Location: York
Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months
Salary: From £13.19 per hour plus 150% OT

Responsibilities:
As a Facility Services Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness of rolling stock at designated locations. Key duties include:
Cleaning allocated rolling stock according to the production schedule
Performing external cleaning of trains manually
Using brushes or compressed air for driveline systems
Assisting with fuelling, tanking, and the operation of Controlled Emission Toilets (CET)
Reporting any defects to the Supervisor
Following site-specific cleaning guidelines for underframes
Collaborating with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Strong communication skills in basic English
Knowledge of Health and Safety practises, including COSHH
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
Ability to work effectively in small teams
Willingness to be on your feet for most of the shift
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in a cleaning or facility services role
Previous exposure to transport or logistics environments
Technologies:
Understanding of cleaning equipment and safety protocols
Familiarity with basic operational procedures in facility maintenance
