Train to Teach Maths   Are you a maths graduate looking to train as a teacher—without university fees and with paid classroom experience from day one?   *** Train to Teach Maths *** September 2025 Start Date *** £18,000–£21,000 per annum *** School Location: Central Birmingham *** Temp to perm Trainee Teacher opportunity   The Role This is a school-based, salaried route into teaching for aspiring maths teachers. You’ll start in September as a trainee, supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 through small group work, intervention sessions, and classroom assistance. As the year progresses, you’ll take on increased teaching responsibilities while receiving high-quality mentoring and professional development. If successful, you’ll transition into a fully funded teacher training programme leading to QTS.   The Candidate You’re a maths graduate (or expecting to graduate in 2025) with strong subject knowledge and a real interest in secondary education. You’re confident, articulate, and ready to work hard to become an outstanding teacher. Previous experience working with young people—such as tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering—is a plus but not essential.
