Location: Andover area (including nearby villages)
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE + overtime + monthly bonus after probation
Job Type: Full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm
Are you practical, hands-on, and eager to build a career in a specialist engineering trade?
We are a well-established, family-run business that designs, manufactures, and installs high-quality bespoke automated gates for the residential market. Known for craftsmanship, honesty, and a passion for perfection, we are looking for a Trainee Automation Engineer to join our growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
* Working alongside experienced engineers on site to install and automate bespoke gates.
* Digging posts, running cabling, and assisting with electrical installations.
* Supporting the commissioning of control boards and systems.
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Learning key skills such as groundwork, gate fitting, problem solving and welding (training provided if required).
* Travelling to different sites (sometimes up to 100 miles) with occasional late finishes to meet deadlines.
What we’re looking for:
* Enthusiastic and reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Enjoys hands-on work and problem solving.
* Comfortable working outside in all conditions.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
* Based in or around the Andover area.

* Salary up to £30,000 DOE.
