Trainee Recruitment Consultant

📍 Derby | Up to £28k Basic | £30k+ OTE Year 1 | £40k+ Year 2

The Role

First 6 Months - Resourcing & Training

Learn the Rail & Engineering market

Source and screen candidates

Build and manage talent pools

Support experienced consultants on live roles

Develop confidence in candidate management

This phase gives you the foundations to succeed in recruitment.

After 6 Months - Sales & Business Development

Develop and manage your own client relationships

Proactively win new business

Identify growth opportunities within accounts

Start billing and earning commission

This role includes a strong sales and business development focus - you won't just manage jobs; you'll actively grow your desk, build partnerships and drive revenue.
