Trainee Fabricator
Swindon
£12.21 per hour

Our well-established, successful and growing client based in Swindon is looking for a Trainee Fabricator to join their company!
Trainee Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities:
* Assist senior fabricators and supervisors in day-to-day fabrication tasks
* Support in measuring, cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding, and assembling metal components
* Learn basic welding techniques
* Prepare materials and components for welding or assembly
* Clean, polish, and finish fabricated components as required
* Follow all workplace health and safety standards, including the use of PPE
* Work effectively with senior fabricators, welders, and engineers
Trainee Fabricator Ideal Candidate:
* Basic mathematical skills for taking accurate measurements and performing simple calculations
* Experience or familiarity with working on mild/stainless steel and structural steelwork is an advantage
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Willingness to learn, take direction, and improve skills on the job
Trainee Fabricator Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday, 07:30 – 17:00
* Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
* 45-minute unpaid break
* 15-minute paid break
