Job Description
Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Geeneal Office Administrator to join their office in Grays.
This role will be best suited for a college leaver.
The job role will be on the job training to achieve the below:
* Learning how to use our operating system, leading to assisting their assigned department in booking in shipments
* Learning to communicate with customers both in the UK and overseas
* Quoting customers for shipping
* Arranging deliveries using our internal trucking network as well as 3rd parties
* Supporting the office / management with day-to-day tasks
* Experience not necessary, so a college leaver would be fine
* This is a desk job, in office.
* Skills we are looking for:
* Someone who is able to navigate Outlook – creating polite and efficient emails, handling attachments etc.
* Someone who is has a basic knowledge of excel sheets, using the internet to source information etc.
* a good telephone manner, English must be their first language
* of an organised nature, able to multi task
* keen to lean different aspects of shipping and logisticsBefore You Apply
